Join us at Valley Fair Mall in Maple Ridge for a FREE community anti bullying workshop for girls! We’re hosting in honour of Pink Shirt Day – but 1 day later so you parents can cruise the mall and enjoy some “me” time while your kids are busy! 🙂
These 1 hour sessions, hosted at Creative Cove Childcare Centre in the mall, will help your girl understand positive behavior and learn now to be an empowered friend.
We will discuss:
- Types of bullying
- Core values and how to understand your own values
- Characteristics of a good friend
- How to be a good friend, and learning to be ok with ending friendships
- How to support others that are victims of bullying
Kids will have an opportunity to meet new friends, share personal stories and learn some tools to stand up to bullying – for themselves and their peers.
ONLY 15 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR EACH 1-HOUR SESSION, PER-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
We have 2 sessions available:
- 6:15 – 7:15 pm – for girls aged 6 to 9 – FULLY BOOKED
- 7:30 – 8:30 pm – for girls aged 10 – 12 – REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5 PM FEB 28TH, PLEASE TEXT 604-765-4390 AFTER THIS TIME.
